Save the date! The Fortismere Funfair is back on Thursday 5th November, 5pm–9pm on the Field — and this year it comes with a brand-new Laser & Quiet Fireworks Show, starting at 8pm.
The new show is our response to feedback from neighbours over the years, and we’re excited to try something different. We think it’s going to be very impressive.

Two ways to help right now — both close Thursday 24th September
1. Earn £15 for the school with a Martyn Gerrard board
We’re very grateful to Martyn Gerrard for supporting the event again. They’ll give the school £15 for every Fortismere family or friend who signs up to display an event advertising board outside their property. It costs you nothing but a bit of front garden.

2. Design the poster — win two free rides
Our poster competition is underway. The winning design will be used to promote the event, and the winner gets two free funfair rides.
Designs must include: Friends of Fortismere presents Fortismere Funfair and Laser Show, Thursday 5th November. Students should email their design to Ms Powell ([email protected]) or hand it to their Art teacher by Thursday 24th September.
Volunteers
Events like this only happen because parents and carers pitch in. We’ll be looking for volunteers to help on the night — put the date in your diary, and if you think you could lend a hand, do get in touch at [email protected].
