Friends of Fortismere AGM — Thursday 10th September, 7pm

September 10, 2026

Dear all,

We look forward to seeing as many parents, carers and staff as possible this Thursday 10th September at the FOF AGM in South Wing Hall from 7.00pm, with the AGM itself starting at 7.30pm. There will be a bar for refreshments and snacks.

We’ve attached the accounts for FOF for the period ending 31 July 2026, together with the Trustees’ Report, for your review. Please feel free to raise any questions on these at the AGM.

We will also be electing or re-electing members of the FOF committee. We’d love some new members — particularly from the new Year 7 — to come forward. It really is both rewarding and (perhaps surprisingly!) fun, so please do have a word with us if you might be interested. This can also be done after the AGM, so there’s no pressure for a quick decision.

Legally, a third of the trustees must resign each year (and can be re-elected), so we’ll be asking the AGM to approve the re-election of, at least, Frances Price, Clare Melikian and Jo Kaye.

Approving the accounts and the election/re-election of trustees will be the formal business of the AGM and should be quick to cover — after which we hope to have a general discussion of plans for the year, including your ideas for enhancing the Fortismere experience for all students.

Thanks,
Friends of Fortismere
